Flowers for the future
Get an education by giving an education
Flowers For the Future is the student branch of the Eileen Murphy Foundation, and our mission is to protect education wherever it is in danger around the world. For the past four years, our primary focus has been in Afghanistan, where we've partnered with a girls school in Kabul in order to allow the girls there to continue their education regardless of Taliban policy.

Our Story
In May of 2021, Flowers for the Future began as a collaboration between students from San Diego, California, and a private learning academy in Kabul, Afghanistan. The goal of our collaboration was simple: to cultivate cross-cultural interactions between students from vastly different backgrounds and lives.

But with the return of the Taliban in August 2021, Flowers for the Future quickly morphed into an organization supporting the rights of students across the world to education, regardless of the circumstances. We’ve since expanded into an international organization with branches all over the world, including Duke University, NHL Stenden University, and the Victoria Shanghai School in Hong Kong.

Our partnership with a San Diego based private school, High Bluff Academy, has also allowed us to create a high school degree pathway for certain advanced students enrolled as distance learners. This year, 36 girls are set to graduate with California high school diplomas from High Bluff Academy.
